Dacland welcomes future Lochaven residents in Cranbourne West

Dacland joined NBN Co, Neighbourhood Watch and the Cranbourne Cricket Club to welcome new residents to Lochaven in Cranbourne West at a purchaser event last night.

The event was held at the Ranfurlie Golf Club in Cranbourne West, which is ran by the popular Amstel Club near the Lochaven community.

Dacland hosted the event to encourage purchasers who will soon be starting to build their homes in the community to meet each other and start forming connections with the local area. Many of the soon to be residents expressed their excitement to be moving into an area with established nearby.

“It’s fantastic to see purchasers planning to build their new homes at Lochaven, some of which have already commenced construction. We hope this event, and other events in the coming months help neighbours get to know each other and become familiar with the magnificent area they will soon come home,” said Dacland Delivery Manager, Peter Hansen.

Damon from NBN Co presented important considerations for building and connecting to the NBN. Offering purchasers insights into the process of building their home and preparing for NBN connection.

Rob and Bambi from Neighbourhood Watch discussed safety in new developments, and encouraged purchasers to get involved in the initiative. Safety in our communities is a priority at Dacland, we believe that Neighbourhood Watch is an excellent initiative to helping our residents feel safe and supported within their neighbourhood.

Stephen from the Cranbourne Cricket Club spoke to purchasers about local sporting initiatives and how they can form connections in the well-established community. Dacland proudly sponsor the Cranbourne sporting collective to help encourage healthy and active lifestyles within the community.

“Lochaven is destined to be a thriving connected community with its own Woolworths town centre, proposed school and neighbourhood activity centre. Commuters benefit from an array of transport connections to the Melbourne CBD. We look forward to seeing residents make this community their own.”
